Tears of a Lover – Album Launch

with No Comments

Last Wednesday we found ourselves in the beautiful home of Bob and Elisabeth Boas, performing a private concert for sixty or so of our friends, families, and supporters. Tom had arrived armed with a cardboard box containing the first 100 copies of Fieri’s first ever recording, ‘Tears of a Lover’, which had been more than a year in the making. It felt quite surreal to finally be able to see the physical manifestation of this project, which had required such a huge investment from so many people, and, quite unexpectedly, had resulted in so many changes for Fieri. The donation that allowed us to go ahead with the recording gave us the motivation to register as a charity, and we now have a wonderfully supportive board of trustees. Hannah has the keys to a ‘Fieri office’, for which we have just started a trial period, and we have already started the planning and fundraising for recording number two. Thank you to all of the people who have helped us along the way, in so many different ways. We are very excited about the new connections we have made, and about how the project has helped Fieri to grow as an ensemble. We are delighted to be able to share ‘Tears of a Lover’ with you, and we can’t wait to see what the next recording will bring.
