A Winter Garden – Carols at Brompton Cemetery Chapel
December 14, 2014|2:15 pm - 3:30 pm£5 – £15
Join Fieri on a walk around the Winter Garden, from the cast iron gates on a cold, frosty morning, through the meadows and the orchard on a crisp afternoon jaunt. Wander through the thorny forest as the sky darkens, and finally follow the winding path home to a warm fire as we finish our concert with some traditional wassailing!
Including several favourite sing-along carols:
- The holly and the ivy
- While shepherds watched their flocks by night
- O Christmas Tree
- Silent Night
- God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
The concert takes place at 2.30pm in the beautiful, Dickensian setting of Brompton Cemetery Chapel. The Chapel can be accessed from the South and North entrances of the cemetery. Unfortunately there is no parking available on site, and limited space for bikes, although there are plenty of quiet streets nearby.
Profits from the concert will go towards supporting the Lottery Funding application by the Friends of Brompton Cemetery and the Royal Parks to carry out a large programme of improvements, including the restoration of the chapel.
